Profiles are best for repeating, reusable details like policies, standard variations, or template fields. Bulk Edit is better for one-off changes across many listings, such as a seasonal price increase.
No. Once saved, changes sync immediately. To protect yourself, you can export listings as a CSV first for backup. If you need to undo, you’ll have to reapply values via Bulk Edit, CSV, or another profile.
1. Make sure the variations in the profile exactly match the listing’s variations (spelling, order, capitalization).
2. Check the **Retain SKUs/Quantity/Prices** box when creating or editing the profile.
3. If variations don’t match exactly, the profile won’t connect.
4. Once connected, you can change SKU, quantity, or price individually without impacting other listings.
5. To update all connected listings’ SKUs, quantity, or price later, uncheck the box and save changes in the profile.
Template mode is for creating new listings only. The profile will fill in the fields when you create the listing, but the new listing won’t stay connected to the profile afterward.
Yes. You can copy a profile to another connected shop or platform. Profiles are shop-specific, so the copy won’t auto-apply to listings in the new shop; review and adjust platform-specific fields (like attributes, policies, or shipping) before using it.
