When you sell the same product across multiple shops, Vela links your listings so you can edit them efficiently while keeping each shop’s details distinct. Managing connected listings helps you maintain consistency across channels while tailoring details for each marketplace.

How Linked Listings Work
When listings are linked between shops, each connected shop appears as its own tab in the individual listing editor.
- Edits made under one tab stay unique to that shop — ideal for adjusting titles, prices, or images to fit each platform’s format.
- Shared fields like descriptions or tags can still be optimized individually with AI, allowing each version to align with its audience while maintaining your brand voice.
- On your main dashboard, a set of colored dots next to each listing shows which shops it’s linked to.
- You can sort or filter listings by the number of connected shops for quick management.
- Inventory is completely distinct for each shop. Changes to stock levels in one platform won’t affect another. We’re actively developing inventory management capabilities to make this process even smoother.
When to Use Merge or Copy
- Use Merge when you have the same product in multiple shops and want to manage them together in one linked record.
- Use Copy when you want to duplicate a listing for another shop but manage it separately going forward.
Both tools help you stay organized across platforms without losing control of shop-specific details.
