1. Update Your Account Information
To view or edit your account details, click Account Settings in the lower-left corner of your Vela workspace.
Here, you can:
- Update your name and email address
- Change your password
- Manage plan selections for each connected shop

2. Manage billing & subscriptions
Billing in Vela is monthly, per shop, based on your plan level (Lite or Plus) and the number of listings in each connected shop.
From Account Settings > Billing, you can:
- View your current plan and rate for each shop
- Update or replace your payment method
- See upcoming billing dates for each shop
- Move a shop between plans anytime
- Cancel a subscription
- View and download invoices
If you connect a new shop, you’ll automatically start a 7-day free trial before your first billing period begins.

3. Access invoices
To view or download past invoices:
- Open Account Settings
- Select Billing
- Click Download Invoice next to any past payment
Invoices include full billing details, including your plan, listing tier, and applicable discounts.

4. Changing your email address
If you need to update the email associated with your account:
- Go to Account Settings, and scroll down to Email
- Enter your new email address
- Confirm the change through the verification email sent to your inbox
💡 Your account email is also your login. Once updated, use your new address to sign in to Vela going forward.

5. Change the appearance of your dashboard
To enable Dark Mode, open Account Settings → Appearance, and select your preferred theme.
Your choice applies instantly and persists across all connected shops and devices.

6. Manage Connected Shops
To connect shops:
- Click the Shops Menu at the top left of your workspace.
- Select Add Shop to connect a new one.
You can connect unlimited shops to a single Vela account, and each can be on its own plan. If you reconnect a previously inactive shop, your 7-day Plus trial will start automatically.
To unsubscribe:
- Open Account settings
- Select Billing
- Locate the shop you'd like to unsubscribe and click the slider icon to open the plan manager
- Choose Cancel plan
After cancellation, you will retain access to your current plan features until your next scheduled billing date, but will no longer be charged. The monthly total for your account will instantly reflect the change. Each shop has it's own plan subscription, so shops must be unsubscribed individually.

7. Logging Out or Switching Accounts
To log out, click your Account Icon in the lower left and select Log Out at top right.
You can switch accounts anytime simply by signing in with a different email. Your connected shops and data stay safe and unchanged.
